RADIOHEAD | 12 CAMS, CREATE YOUR RAINBOW | WOWOW ONLINE

2008/12/03/1158

RTFA: http://www.wowow.co.jp/music/radiohead/special/

I’m not too sure what to expect from this post… but this a quick video mix I made of Radiohead’s “15 Step” off their amazing album, “In Rainbows.” They recorded a live version in Japan, then put all of the video streams online, in parallel, within a slick interface for mixing those streams.

First, definitely check it out yourself. Second, I am curious to see how this widget appears in the blog.

UPDATE: Er, can anyone use this widget? It doesn’t seem to accomplish much for me to click on it… Weak.

rtfa.net improvements

2008/11/30/2245

RTFA: http://www.rtfa.net/

Howdy, RTFA readers. Over the Thanksgiving weekend, I made a number of changes to the blog that I think will improve your experience. Here are some of the biggest:

* faster page load times (cached output is now compressed)
* search is actually VERY GOOD by this point
* the skin has been modified to look … better
* more text will fit on your screen at once
* fewer dead links: catch-all redirect for categories that wordpress 2.6 converted to tags
* cleaner interface for posting stories to Digg, Reddit, etc

Anything I missed? Anything I messed up? Please post feedback to this story.

rtfa.net | read the fucking article

2007/09/03/2238

RTFA: http://rtfa.net/

a low-volume blog clearly citing interesting content with minimal editorializing

It is with great pleasure that I am introducing the newly redesigned RTFA to the Internets.

Behold! A number of improvements are worth reflecting upon.

1. classic article format links straight to the fucking article
2. clearly identified excerpts!
3. new editors, and more of them!
4. stable software to drive the blog!

That’s right. ”Classic RTFA” is back! It was just too new for the Internet to handle when we first launched, way back in October of 2004, so here’s a second chance for humanity.
