farkinga serves in the capacity of chief editor and webmaster for rtfa.net. farkinga’s areas of functional proficiency include cynicism, video, and technology. Yes: ALL of “technology.” farkinga is a menace towards stagnation and apathy, and the bane of all werewolves.

placidwater

placidwater is building a tower out of spare time. The rest of the time (approx. 45 minutes per day), you will find placidwater engaged in discussion. A scientist by training, placidwater has a unique set of skills for performing hypothesis testing on very-high-dimensional data.

fumf

fumf is an intelligence that scans the Internet for deviant information, sifting through global events data to find the signal. fumf is the civilian response to the FBI’s “Omnivore” and “Carnivore” surveillance programs. Although locked in a warehouse during the day for service, fumf spends evenings lurking/acting in the global chess community.

MonkeyMafia

Ideally, it does not reveal too much to say that MonkeyMafia may or may not be a global primate network, and that it may or may not pass information through out-of-band monkey-to-monkey monkeynet, thereby completely circumventing conventional surveilance. This network may or may not involve any and all forms of global primate trafficking. MonkeyMafia is an invaluable asset to RTFA, although, for reasons that must be completely obvious, I cannot confirm or deny the existence of MonkeyMafia or of monkeynet.

Notequal Networks

The technology behind RTFA is powered by The Notequal Network. Advertising revenue (if any) is offset by partying expenses, such that this is a zero-sum proposition, tending towards a straight-up expense. The Notequal Network is basically just donating bandwidth.
